NEWS TAPE EDITOR

DEPARTMENT: NEWS

DUTIES: Responsible for editing videotape for various newscasts and special programs and maintaining file tape for news library.

REQUIREMENTS: Two years previous experience in television News editing and video post-production required. Photography experience also preferred. Experience with receiving satellite and microwave feeds. Willing to adapt to new technologies, including the Avid NewsCutter system. Able to work a varied work schedule. College degree preferred in Communications, Journalism or other related field. We are a seven-day a week, twenty-four hour per day operation. Irregular hours and scheduling can be expected. Must be willing to fly in helicopter and perform photographer’s duties when necessary.
