Off The Record Research LLC, an international asset management research firm
has an immediate opening for a full time Associate Editor based in Shanghai,
China. The person’s primary responsibility will be to work closely with and
support the Firm’s Asia Senior International Editor. Interpersonal skills,
cultural sensitivity, the ability to managing on going research projects and
identifying new story ideas on an ongoing basis are several key success
factor.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required are understanding of market
research methods and approaches, understanding of financial reporting
business practices and stock market basics, communication skills
(presenting, written, etc), ability to work as a team with respective group
members, able to generate and mathematically manipulate grids and OTR data,
understanding of issues that are likely to have potential critical impact on
the companies being researched.
Work is home office based. Minimum qualifications are Bachelor’s degree
(Master’s preferred) in business/marketing or related disciplines and/or 2-3
years working experience in market research
