NYC: Associate Multimedia Producer and Multimedia Intern for Newsweek.com
Associate Multimedia Producer
As an Associate Multimedia Producer, you will pitch, shoot and edit video stories, collaborate with others in the Newsweek organization on short- and long-term multimedia projects, acquire and produce video as accompaniments to stories, produce audio podcasts, and provide general production assistance with our multimedia operations.
Candidates should have 2-3 years of video production experience and a working knowledge of video on the web. Strong knowledge of shooting and lighting techniques, editing with Final Cut Pro, encoding video to standard Web file formats, the ability to adapt to new technology and an understanding of journalistic ethics is required. Ability in motion graphics programs is a plus.
Newsweek.com is currently undergoing a redesign, which will make video a major focus of the site.

Multimedia Intern
As a Multimedia Intern, you will acquire and produce video as accompaniments to Newsweek.com stories, edit breaking news video reports, produce audio podcasts, shoot and edit video and provide general production assistance with our multimedia operations.
Candidates should have a strong interest in multimedia production and at least one year of experience shooting and editing video. Ability in motion graphics programs is a plus.
