Atlanta’s Gannett owned NBC affiliate, WXIA-TV, and My Network TV, WATL-TV is searching for a Producer to create quality segments featuring local and regional companies, events and entertainment news for Atlanta & Company, a live magazine show. The Producer is responsible for creating and maintaining daily rundown, writing compelling stories for use on-air and online, editing video, creating and maintaining web content for show’s website using multimedia material, composing weekly newsletter. Additional responsibilities may include line producing daily show, operating camera during live show, operating prompter, other duties as assigned by the executive producer.

College degree in broadcast communication or similar field of study; ability to work well under pressure; flexibility in time management; strong organizational abilities; good oral and written communication skills. Experience with HTML and FTP, Newsmaker, Avid/iNews system, Avid non-linear editing system and Microsoft Outlook is a plus. Candidate must be available to work flexible work hours, including early mornings.
