Position: CNN Video Journalist (entry-level)

Qualifications: Req# 72747BR
· Looking for news production internship(s) or affiliate experience as a Production Assistant – 2 years minimum and degree in related field
· Candidates should have knowledge of non-linear editing as well as a strong interest in pursuing a technical production track (control room)
· Candidates should have strong news awareness and knowledge of current events

Duties:
· In studio production assistants working with script distribution, teleprompting, and floor directing
· Providing media operations support
· Opportunities to work with producers, writers, editors, and directors in order to further develop skill-sets
· Entry-level fast-track, self- guided program. Expectation is to move on to roles of greater responsibility within 6-12 months

Position: CNN Media Coordinator (mid-level)
Qualifications: Req# 85138
* CNN Networks experience preferred
* News awareness is a must, knowledge of current events and key public figures.
* Ability to pay close attention to detail and work under deadline pressures. Knowledge of how shows are put together and what is required to get video on the air.
* 3-5 years line producing or video editing in news production capacity

Duties:
· Inputting editorial information into the web site for all video within CNN.
· Noting key and special information about the video. Maintaining the website in an editorial fashion so as to determine how long video is available to be viewed.
· Making editorial decisions so as to keep video available for immediate playback for CNN networks through server technology.
· Reviewing edited material for editorial and technical quality to ensure it meets all network standards.
· Researching font information to assure accuracy for all cut material.
