Global Business Producer, TIME.com
Job Description:
–Based in NYC
–Manage and grow the new TIME.com Global Business
Section by producing and editing articles, blogs,
photos, and multimedia
–Write breaking news and feature stories as needed
–Frequently update the TIME.com Global Business
Section with fresh content during the 24/7 news cycle
–Work as the liaison between all business producers,
writers and editors worldwide
–Create special TIME.com business packages and
multimedia features including video and podcasts
–Write concise summaries and headlines for articles.
–Manage all business story feeds with TIME.com
partners
–Create and update daily and weekly global business
email newsletters

Requirements:
-Three to four years experience in business news
production, writing and reporting; experience working
in a breaking news environment preferred
-Exceptional computer skills and familiarity with
online media including knowledge of HTML, Photoshop,
Flash and CSS.
-Knowledge of audio and video production (Final Cut
Pro) a big plus
-Must be organized and detail oriented
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work a flexible night and weekend schedule
as needed
-Positive attitude and proven team player
-BA or BS Degree

Editorial Production Intern, TIME.com
Produce TIME.com daily stories; help update section
fronts, specials, and archival packages. Help create
special packages, podcasts, videos and other
multimedia features. Work closely with associate
producers and producers to gain a full understanding
of online web production.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in
online news reporting and journalism. Candidates will
be asked to submit references, writing samples and
examples of projects they have worked on over the past
year. This position is based in NYC.

Requirements
· Excellent writing and editing skills
· Exceptional computer skills and familiarity with
online media, including knowledge of HTML, CSS,
Photoshop and other applications.
· Proven interest in journalism
· Familiarity with audio and video production strongly
preferred, but not required; knowledge of Final Cut
Pro a big plus
· Must be organized and detail oriented
· Excellent communication skills
