The Record (Bergen County, NJ) has openings in local sports for a full-time reporter and a one-year, full-time intern. Both these positions cover scholastic sports for The Record and its sister newspaper, the Herald News.

Local Sports Reporter - Applicants must be organized, self-directed and able to write on tight deadlines, develop news sources and features as well as quality enterprise reporting. Knowledge of North Jersey sports is preferred along with interest and experience in multimedia tasks such as blogs, podcasts and video features. Three or more years of daily reporting experience required.
