The Associated Press seeks a Sports Enterprise Editor to oversee
projects, investigations and enterprise stories for AP Sports.

The editor will be based in a location to be determined and will assign,
direct, edit and coordinate stories with writers and other editors
worldwide for weekend and special packages. This editor will work with
Multimedia, Photos, Graphics and Broadcast.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have excellent news and editing skills and the ability
to produce “impact” stories, series and projects, beyond regular
features, based on strong original reporting or investigations.
Candidates must have knowledge of and interest in a full-range of
sports, nationally and internationally. Applicants must be organized,
energetic, highly motivated and able to communicate ideas clearly to
produce ground-breaking enterprise across all platforms. Candidates must
be familiar with and able to work with multimedia elements, and must
have ability and desire to work with Graphics, Broadcast, Photos and
Online Video to ensure proper packaging of stories. Three to five years
full-time editing and experience with major projects and investigations.
Knowledge of computer-assisted reporting and databases is a plus.
