Gourmet.com (the newly launched Website for Gourmet Magazine) is searching for a creative online photo editor to start immediately. Shooting, editing, and cropping photos, handling all photo rights, tracking the online photo budget, and dealing with stock sources is all in a day’s work. The candidate will have roughly 4 years photo editing experience and must be able to thrive in a daily deadline environment. This position requires close contact with the photo department of the magazine and a self-motivated guerrilla attitude toward meeting deadlines, staying on budget, and creating compelling images. Job Requirements
The Multimedia Producer at The New Yorker will help define and grow online multimedia programming for the site, collaborating with editorial to conceptualize, plan, tape and edit content on a regular basis. This person will be responsible for creating and producing audio/video/multimedia series in keeping with the standards and sensibility of the magazine as well as for maintaining the New Yorker’s current podcasts.

Experience creating and promoting multimedia content online, a strong understanding of the online landscape with respect to video and audio is desired. Previous work will be evaluated. Must have experience with recording in studio and on location and must be adept at desktop editing. This candidate must also be able to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects. Must be self-motivated while maintaining a collaborative team orientation.
