Information graphics artist/editor, Hong Kong

The Wall Street Journal Asia is looking for an information graphics artist. As we are a small team in Asia, this is a great opportunity to see your work in print on a daily basis while also getting your foot in the door at a well-respected global news organization.The candidate will work with graphics editors, news editors and reporters to identify, develop and produce data-based graphics for breaking-news, features and enterprise projects. The candidate must be detail-oriented, organized and deadline conscious. In addition, the candidate must be comfortable working on multiple projects at the same time. The candidate must have a background in at least one of these areas and an interest in the others: journalism, business and design. Fluency in English is a must. Candidates with at least 2 years of experience creating infographics for news publications are preferred, but we encourage applications from those with less experience as well.
