Candidate must be an experienced journalist and must have a background in online news and web production. There is a strong internal candidate.
THIS WEEK DIGITAL PRODUCER. Responsibilities include reporting, writing, editing and producing blogs and news stories for dot com. Primarily responsible for maintaining the program’s website and generating creative ideas for the website and the broadcast. Web site production skills are a must. There is a strong internal candidate.
DIGITAL REPORTER, ADMINISTRATION, DC Burea. Provides news coverage of the Obama administration for all ABC News programs, focusing on major initiatives such as health care reform. There will be a special emphasis on coverage for digital media platforms. and the production of digital media content. Must have very strong writing and reporting skills and experience covering national politics. There is a strong internal candidate.
THE D.C. BUREAU DIGITAL REPORTER, TREASURY. Responsibilities include providing coverage of the Treasury Department and Washington-based economic news for all ABC News programs and platforms. There will be a special emphasis on coverage for digital media. Must have strong writing and reporting skills. Experience covering economic news preferred. There is a strong internal candidate.
WORLD NEWS PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE. Responsibilities include assisting producers and senior producers with tape and editorial research, cutting voiceovers for broadcast, and occasional field producing. Candidates should have experience working on the AVID editing system. Ability to shoot with a DV Camera and previous field producing experience is a plus.
