Clarion, the newspaper of the Professional Staff Congress (PSC), AFT Local 2334, is hiring an associate editor. As part of a three-person communications team, the associate editor needs to assume significant independent responsibility. In addition to reporting, writing and editing, the job involves helping to plan each month’s issue; coordination with freelance writers and photographers; fact-checking and proofreading; and some work on the union’s website, newsletters, or other communications projects.
