Dow Jones Newswires is seeking an experienced editor to help run Asia-Pacific coverage of debt,
forex, economic and policy/political news. The Singapore-based position, part of a three-person
management team, involves proactive news planning, working with bureaus and reporters to identify
and develop story ideas and editing updates and features.
The successful candidate will have deep and broad experience with FX or debt, or both, and the
ability to transform rough copy on deadline and as well as guide the reporting and writing of more
involved features from their inception. Market reporting experience and a strong knowledge of Asian
economies are preferred; knowledge of derivatives and of an Asian language would be pluses.
