The Houston Chronicle is looking for a reporter to fill one of the paper’s premier beats: oil & gas/exploration and production reporter. The reporter covers some of the country’s biggest companies and is responsible for breaking news, finding trends, producing enterprise and regularly landing on Page 1 and atop Chron.com. This person writes for print and the web. The ideal candidate will have five years experience and a background in business news. She or he will work with other Chronicle energy writers.
