The Technology Editor is responsible for primary technology-related coverage for bi-weekly tabloid and online portal covering the accounting profession. Candidate will compile and oversee a four-page technology section with features, news briefs as well as soliciting outside bylines. He/She will also be responsible for writing a weekly opinion column for the online site as well as moderating Webinars and online sessions covering technology subjects that impact accounting firms. Candidate will also attend several major technology-centric conferences, providing coverage and blog updates as well as assist the editorial staff on a number of annual major projects. Applicants must possess at least two years covering technology preferably with a newspaper, wire service or B-to-B publication.
