NYC and D.C.: Online journalists for AOL
AOL’s Money & Finance sites, including DailyFinance.com and WalletPop.com, are seeking professional online journalists. The ideal candidate(s) will have a lengthy list of sources in a range of industries and an ability to produce quick analysis of news events as well as longer online features and columns. He or she should also be able to break news, using reader comments as a way to generate tips and develop story ideas. Candidates for this position should be serious journalists who get a thrill out of working in a fast-paced Web environment and who yearn for an opportunity to innovate in story-telling online. There will also be an opportunity to edit and assign stories. Prior Web experience is preferred. An ability to write finished copy is a prerequisite for the job.
