The successful candidate will have a proven ability to write columns that are interesting, informative and compelling. Strong opinions are encouraged but in-depth reporting is mandatory. Above all is accuracy.
The Fresno Bee is Central California’s leading newspaper and part of the McClatchy Corp. Fresno is a great news town near Yosemite National Park in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. In sports, our focus is on Fresno State and high schools. Regionally, we treat Bay Area and Southern California teams as our own.
