Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should possess:

Must demonstrate an ability to report on a wide
range of stories from live breaking news to
features. Must have strong “live” communication
skills. Must be a strong writer and creative
producer of stories. Should enterprise own story
ideas when appropriate and must meet deadlines.
Must be able to develop news sources within the
community. This schedule involves reporting three
days per week and anchoring Saturday/Sunday
morning newscasts. Will assist producer in
writing morning newscasts and be able to
contribute to the station Web site
ClickOnDetroit.com.

Two years television reporting and anchoring
necessary, good writing skills, strong visual
storytelling skills and strong news judgment.
Prefer a college degree in related area.
