VP / News – (Regular Full Time):
Direct and manage the daily news operations of WOFL as well as news opportunities at WRBW (Orlando) and WOGX (Ocala). Duties include: Program development, planning, recruiting and budget oversight. Strong hands on leader and motivator. A minimum of 5 years news management experience as a Top 50 market News Director or Assistant News Director is preferred.

Anchor/Reporter – (Regular Full Time):

Weather Anchor/News Reporter – (Regular Full Time):
Provide weather forecasts for newscasts as assigned. Enterprise and report news as assigned. Write creatively and accurately to video. Utilize sources to develop substantive news stories. A minimum of two years experience as a television weather anchor and/or news reporter. Good news judgment and knowledge of fair and accurate journalism practices. Chief Photographer – (Regular Full Time):
Coach, critique and oversee daily activities of photographer staff. Oversee fleet of news vehicles. Work with news managers to coordinate daily news coverage and long term projects. Shoot and edit video and audio for newscasts, news programming, promotion and other station related purposes. Operate ENG vehicles and equipment. Production Tech – (Regular Full Time):
Assist director with various aspects of production including video camera, audio console, character generator, video recorder and lighting board. College degree or equivalent work experience in film or television preferred. Basic understanding of television production and computers. Weekends and holidays required.

Director – (Regular Full Time):
Direct or technical direct portions of live newscasts, pre-show news elements promos and newsbreaks as assigned. Run camera, prompter and floor direct as needed. A minimum of one year experience directing and technical directing on-air for news programming preferred. Live broadcast skills in camera and teleprompter operation. Sony 7350 switcher experience is helpful. Weekend, holiday and overtime are required.

The Local Sports Desk that serves The Record and Herald News is seeking a local sports reporter. We’re looking for a seasoned reporter for our national sports desk in New York. This person should write with flair and have a knack for storytelling. At the same time, this person should be able to slip into an editor’s chair to sharpen and improve copy.

As a reporter, this person should be comfortable covering a wide range of subjects, including the professional leagues, amateur and Olympic sports, television and general features.

As an editor, the job requires fast, deft handling of game stories, breaking news and items on our sports digest. It also calls for a steady, even hand in dealing with writers in the field. This should be someone who is able to work easily with others and clearly give direction to writers on breaking news, advances and features.

There will be writing opportunities, and that could lead to a beat reporting job.

Broad knowledge of all major sports is required. The ideal candidate is a sharp, creative writer who is a self-starter and can spot developing stories and trends. The candidate should also have editing skills that make him or her capable of handling a heavy stream of copy quickly and efficiently under pressure. Work schedules must be flexible.

NBA Entertainment is seeking on -air personalities to host a weekly
English-language NBA themed program
scheduled to launch at the end of February on AZN Television.

Previous television experience is preferred but definitely not required;

PT Sports Producer
This position requires a strong knowledge of national and local
sports which is complemented by the ability to produce creative
sportscasts. Duties include: the organization and content of the
sportscast including the words, pictures and electronic graphics.
Applicant must be willing and able to deliver content to multiple
information outlets, including broadcast and on-line.

Top candidates must have good organizational and time management
skills. He or she must be able to handle multiple tasks, perform well
under deadline pressure, be attentive to detail and work well with
other members of the team. The ability to edit videotape, preferably
with experience in non-linear systems is required; experience in
Avstar or Inews newsroom software is preferred. This position will
require nights and weekend work. Professional experience in
television or a sports related field is required. A college degree is
preferred.

ASSOCIATE PRODUCER/WRITER. This position on our morning broadcast, Good Day Colorado, will combine writing broadcast-style scripts with line-producing segments of the newscast.
