news and events is ideal. Prefer multi-lingual hosts who are fluent in
English and at least one other South Asian language. Included with your

their past positions and are able to work with some level of independence.

Senior Producer, CBC.ca (Technology, Health, Business and
Consumer news)

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s Web site, CBC.ca, is looking
for an experienced print or online editor to develop and lead new
technology and consumer news sections, as well as oversee the site~Rs
health and business coverage. This is a unique opportunity to build
and shape key coverage areas for this award-winning website.

The Senior Producer must be an experienced print or online journalist
who knows how to critically edit professional online copy. They must
have knowledge and experience in technology, health or business news
coverage. The ideal candidate will be able to do much more than
manage — they must demonstrate a proven ability to lead others and
work with writers to elevate print or online stories to their fullest
potential.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of recent
experience editing or writing for a major professional print or
online publication, including a solid background in editing,
assigning and reshaping print or online stories. He/She will also
have a minimum of five years of recent experience editing coverage of
or writing about technology, health, business or consumer news,
preferably for a major professional print or online publication.
