PRODUCTION ASSISTANT. Candidates should be energetic, ambitious, detail-oriented self starters who can hit the ground running. Responsibilities include collecting, screening and organizing all videotape, graphics and sound design elements associated with daily production from concept to delivery. Responsibilities

The Executive Producer will have the responsibility for the oversight of a daily newscast. The EP will conceive and execute daily programs incorporating top news stories and live reports. The EP must be adept at working under tight deadlines, be a proven supervisor of producers, writers and on-air production staff, review daily line-up of stories and segments, develop future segments, stories and interviews for all NBC10 platforms. The EP will collaborate with the Creative Services department on daily topical promotions, graphic production and art direction. The EP will be work with NBC News to assure compliance with all relevant laws and company policy on broadcasts and news operations.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years experience as a television news producer. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience writing in a broadcast format. The qualified candidate will have proficiency in MS office suite products and iNews. Qualified candidates will posses at least a bachelors degree in journalism, communications, media or equivalent subject.

Desired
The qualified candidate will have leadership capability and or prior experience managing a news team. The successful candidate will possess strong journalistic skills with a creative approach to story telling and problem solving and the ability to make priority decisions under deadline pressures. Responsibilities

Conceive and execute news coverage and make front line editorial decisions on a story-by-story basis. Facilitate the news gathering process and ensure comprehensive coverage of all news stories. Develop and monitor journalistic and editorial elements of news gathering in the field. Dispatch news crews, field producers and reporters. Supervise news gathering crews. Communicate with productions staff on the status of coverage and stories. Develop and cultivate contacts within the community for news stories. Basic Qualifications
