PRODUCTION ASSISTANT. Candidates should be energetic, ambitious, detail-oriented self starters who can hit the ground running. Responsibilities include collecting, screening and organizing all videotape, graphics and sound design elements associated with daily production from concept to delivery. SUMMARY: To work as a member of a team to produce live and taped news programming to air on a

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works with the news production director to complete production of taped and live news programming.
• Prepares the studio and control room areas. This includes set-up and strike of cameras, audio equipment, cables and other related equipment.
• Operates and maintains working knowledge of audio board, audio patch panels and cart machines.
• Records and reviews news clips into digital file server to air in news wheels
• Runs teleprompter for studio talent and to provide closed captioning
