The position is for an anchor for a show called NASDAQ LIVE aired on NDTV Profit. The daily show is recorded from the Nasdaq and focuses on the US market and the US economy and how developments here could impact trading back home in India.

The show is a half hour slot which is done live from Nasdaq every afternoon between 12.30pm and 1:00pm. It airs live on NDTV Profit at 10pm every weeknight. The logistics of the show are fairly simply. There is a producer at the Nasdaq who takes care of the back-end and reserves guests to come in and discuss market developments. The anchor basically has to give a list of stocks / issues he wants to discuss and then go live with a market wall and a guest.

We are ideally looking for people who have experience in business journalism or directly in the markets and are interested in a TV career. The position is basically a free lance kind of position since work is limited to the half hour NASDAQ show.

If anyone is interested, do send your resume to Ira Dugal at irad@ndtv.com or call at 610-3020376 to discuss further.
